ROG STRIX Z490-F GAMING, CPU LED FLASHES. It is not on solid, it flashes..

Got this board for a Christmas gift. Ordered a Intel Core i9-11900K which is compatible with this board.

Set it up basics, CPU, cooler, ram, new P/S, SSD. On power on, the fans run, board lights up but the CPU LED flashes.

The only thing I can find is about a SOLID LED, not a flashing one. Anyone know what flashing one is?

I have tried CMOS reset, of course, pulled and reseated the ram, CPU, video card etc. Same result, a flashing CPU LED.

Never posts actually so no display. Contacted Asus. The CPU LED flashes constantly. It is not a solid lit LED. Asus said it is either a faulty board or processor. They have RMA'd the board and I am sending it tomorrow.
