When will new firmware be released? The latest version 3763 doesn't fix disconnect issues:

1) On my Windows 10 (64-bit) laptop, it disconnect once an hour on average, and then the microphone becomes unusable until the headset is restarted.

2) On my HTC U11 (yes it's on the supported phone list), the disconnects happen about once every minute, making lots of beeping sounds (connect/disconnect). Very annoying.

ASUS工程師到底是在幹嘛,一個四千多塊的耳機要求穩定連線應該是最基本的吧? 拜託趕快處理一下。

Dear all,
I'm really sorry. I have picked up this case and ask for re-escalation.
May I know if the issue happen in different environment, different device or distance?
Thank you very much.

Hi Blake@ROG,

As another ROG staff has stated already, internally they've already confirmed there are issues that need to be fixed in the next firmware, the problem is we don't know when it will come as we've already missed thomas_yiu@ROG deadline by a month already. What I will say is that the issue of random connect/disconnect is definitely more severe on my phone than on my laptop.

1) It's hard to think that the random disconnects have anything to do with interference when I'm sitting on my bed far away from any other electronic device, with my phone in hand, and the dongle sticking out of my phone literally less than 30cm from the headset. Unless somehow the 4G from my SIM card is causing "interference"... but at that point it's just silly.

2) Recently the Armory software has been updated so now we can see in the notification area a more precise battery indicator of how much battery % is remaining on the ROG Strix Go, which is great. However, there are issues where the Armory Crate and the notification icon show different levels of battery, and often the value becomes "stuck" and therefore reports a false value. Here is a screenshot where the Armory Crate becomes stuck at 80%, and it stays that way forever. Note that just like the Armory Crate, the notification area icon can also get "stuck" at a false value, and the only way to get it to fix them is to uninstall and reinstall the software. But it happens again soon.

Please pass this bug onto the team as well.

UPDATE 07/31: Issue (2) from above seems to have been fixed with the latest HAL and Device Kit updates, great! Though the battery indicator only goes down by 25% increments, wish it was a little more fine tuned (say, every 10%). Looking forward to new Firmware to fix the connection issues.

Dear all,
We have confirmed that there will be a new firmware released soon to decrease the possibility of disconnecting.
But same as any other wireless device, disconnection due to interference in the environment is inevitable.
We will try our best to utilize the connection, and let's see how it works.
Thank you.

The two forum threads on this issue together have more than 3500 views, which indicates many users of the Strix Go 2.4 are experiencing disconnection issues that are well beyond the normal ones due to interference.

My personal experience is that disconnection issues are FAR worse on phones than on PCs.

I have three USB type-C phones: HTC U11, Samsung Note 20, Samsung S20 FE, and ALL of them have the same problem where it connects/disconnects like crazy.

I can guarantee there are no other 2.4GHz interferences that are causing this, because I am far far away from any other peripherals, and my phone is extremely close to my headset. In fact, the only interference that is even possible is from my mobile 4G/4G+ carrier. I can even tell you the bands that my carrier (Taiwan Star Telecom) uses:

Band 7/FDD/2600 MHZ
Band 8/FDD/900 MHZ

Hopefully this will provide some insights to your engineers.

is there any fixes for this.
just bought this headsetr and only using it on pc
i used it near the pc case. but randomly it disconnects and reconnects.
i updated the latest bios frimware not solve the problem.
