ROG Strix B560-G modern standby (S0 Low Power Idle) not available

I'm having a problem with my PC not going to sleep unless I specifically press the power button or select sleep in Windows. When I configure the sleep timers for screen off 1m and go to sleep 1m, the screen does go off but the machine never goes to sleep. Or at least there is still a fan running and the aura lights are still on. The MB is a ROG Strix B560-G Gaming WiFi with Windows 11 21H2.

As a fix I was trying to enable "modern standby" power mode but while investigating this I noticed that the modern standby mode (S0 Low Power Idle) is not supported by the system firmware. When I run
powercfg \a
I get the below response. I've played around with several BIOS power settings but none make any difference, and none fix the problem that the machine will not go to sleep after the configured time.

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22000.1219]
(c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Windows\system32>powercfg /a
The following sleep states are available on this system:
Standby (S3)
Hibernate
Hybrid Sleep
Fast Startup

The following sleep states are not available on this system:
Standby (S1)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

Standby (S2)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

Standby (S0 Low Power Idle)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

Should the ROG Strix B560-G support Standby (S0 Low Power Idle) mode?

Is there a BIOS config option I need to tweak to enable support for this power mode?

Thanks

Hello, dsewell.

May I ask if you had installed any software or changed the hardware configuration before this problem occurred?

Thank you.
