Mediatek MT7921 Miracast Problem

I ve bought a new asus rog g513ih with mediatek MT7921 wifi card but everything is problem with this card,

- Very slow download in different wifi channels, very fast in some wifi channels (fixed this with new driver, fine)

- Sometimes connecting with miracast or widi sometimes not to tv (confused) changed modem router it's same tried to change ax to ac nothing changed

- All connections are full of lag with all drivers containing the given one in this forum

- I ve LG tv , tried TV 2 old computers they are not lagging freezing or nothing everything is fine

- I dont think this problem is only with my wifi card, read lots of topics problems with this card


Any fix for miracast widi ? My old phone can but new computer cant do it lol

Sorry to bother you so many times. I'm sorry the lag and the display issue is not easy to understand only with words. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, I need a video for further checking and ask for the suggestion internally.

You only recorded the tv this time, may I double confirm when the lag issue occurred on tv, the video on the laptop was playing smoothly?
Also, I'm afraid I don't see the screen issue as you mentioned "The leds in the lower right part of the screen started to shine in the black background, and the ones in the other part began to glow dimly". If it can be seen in the video, could you please tell me the occurrence time of the video?

i'm really sorry that you do not bother me it's all about the problem that i have with the wifi card and Asus Co.

Yes the video on laptop is smooth. But tv says that the "connection signal it not stabilized check your named device "bla bla" if it is working fine" in turkish. For example; The video and voice on tv is freezing about 0.2 second in 5 seconds 10 seconds 30 seconds, this timing changes and this is what i mean from "lag" like you see from the last video.

This card is not stabilized. She works on her head. You wouldn't believe how many methods I tried. I've tried every method you can think of. But all the drivers you have presented, give errors that my knowledge is insufficient. I'm pretty sure the problem is driver software. If you have software to run this card properly, which I don't think so, I want that software. I have already conveyed errors from the event viewer screen.

The closest this card comes to stabilizing is the "wireless n" standard. But it is not stable either. There are many asus software that interferes with the card, even the windows services MyAsus, MultiAntennaService, ArmoryCrate interfere with the power-related parts. Firewall and antivirus should also be added to this list, but I'm not the one to solve this mess. For example; The card is confused because when it have to make miracast from 5 ghz and 5 ghz is in ac standard, card is trying to miracast from the n that connected on 2.4 band , but it is the opposite in the settings. (prefer 5 ghz band ) Card prefers to make miracast and wireless display connection not told in settings it tries to make miracast that it connected band's wireless standard.


Suggestion 1: Giving this computer back ?

Suggestion 2: Changing wifi card with another brand like intel ax210 ?

Suggestion 3: Or you have to give a driver that working like a charm (i dont think so if you can i ll be honest) ?

I have already gave my suggestions. This card produced by Mediatek is problematic. Every user knows this without ASUS.

I've consulted our tech team bout the miracast lag issue. The message "Miracast not Supported by Graphics Driver" will no affect the miracast connection. It is common on AMD/intel/NVIDIA graphics card in dxdiag.
Also, as the information you mentioned “Miracast: Available, with HDCP”, it means miracast is supported.
However, after updated MTK Wifi Driver V3.00.01.1207, our internal tech team cannot reproduce the lag issue, but it is related to network quality and miracast connection.
May I have the following information?
- OS version and OS Build(Please enter Settings-> About -> Windows Specifications to capture a screenshot.)
- Besides LG UJ630V, the other TV models you tried and that have the lag issue.
- the brand, model name and the firmware version of your router(AP)
- the distance between your G513IH and the router(AP)
- Is there any barriers between your G513IH and the router(AP)? for example cement walls or wood walls, what is the thickness of walls?
For black background shinning issue, it seems not clear in the photo, could you please provide a video about it?

2. Are the model name of the tv LG 55NANO80VNA and LG UJ 630V? Or you only have tried one tv LG UJ 630V?
3. 2 METRES > Is it the distance between your G513IH and the router(AP) or the distance between your tv and G513IH laptop?
5. There is no barrier or anything else between TV nad Laptop > Is there any barriers "between your G513IH and the router(AP)"?

what about errors from the event viever -server 2505 error - DCOM 10016 error (i ve already added screenshot) - wlan autoconfig error, looked for them, everyone says ( includes microsoft articles) Mediatek's driver is not working healthy, you have not presented a working driver for months ? i want to see the event viewer screenshot from your tech team's windows, mine is full of errors ?

NOTE: 3.0.1.1228 driver was also able to establish a miracast connection with very little lag when i put MT7921 on a/b/g radio mode from driver settings, but this time it shows 10mb/s internet speed on speedtest.net, internet is very slow on a/b/g mode and the other errors are same

The screenshot you provided seem Device Specifications and not Windows Specifications.
I didn't see there is the router in the previous 2 videos, so I want to double confirm whether the distance and barrier information is between your laptop and the router(AP).
However, I'll report them to our tech team first.

- the router is behind the tv but no barrier (hidden behind tv) i ve already put router near and closer to pc nothing changed

After consulted our tech team, it seems v3.0.1.1228 driver is from MTK directly.
MTK driver v3.0.1.1228 is not validated on G513IH. Our tech team is afraid it might cause side effect, so we suggest use MTK driver V3.00.01.1207 from our official support site.
Our tech team want to discuss with MTK about the miracast lag issue.
Could you please help to provide following information and collect the MTK log?
1. Is LG UJ630V also connected to TP LINK ARCHER AC 1200 when issue happens?
2. What is your internet speed at home with MTK driver V3.00.01.1207?
3. What is the YouTube video quality setting when issue happens? 4K? FHD?
If you lower the YouTube video quality, does this issue still exist?
4. Does this issue happen when Bluetooth is disabled? (Device Manager > Bluetooth > Disable device)
