Hi all,
I recently got myself a DSL AX82U. First signs all was great, did notice 1-2 things but, Since the firmware update I have noticed vpn is not working correctly. Its ipv4 yet ipv6 is still enabled. So can bypass the vpn. QOS is giving lots of errors and saying failed. Ipv6 is missing files so the log says. Nat type is not working as it was. Wifi conection drops for no reason on 5g. I get reports too that my dsl is not responding as it should, yet all setting are correct. Alexa is now not reporting any security. Loging in to the router the cert is not always secure. The fact to use alexa I need open router the the net for remote login.
I feel a bit let down thinking this device is new I should not be getting these problems. Also all your online guides are out of date.

What kind of VPN do you use? and What is Alexa? Is it an app?
May I have more details about VPN, QOS, Nat type, 5G wifi connection and Alexa issues you mentioned?

Hi thanks for the reply, sorry think this would be posted on rog routers.

The version I have is Lastest Fw

I use a OpenVPN ipv4 not many are ipv6 so enabling vpn needs to block ipv6 traffic I would think yet sure last FW it did.
Alexa, Amazon Alexa with the asus my router app.
You can find all my info I did a 24hr diagnosis via your feed back in the router UI
5g will just disconnect then reconnect at random times never noticed before. Nat type the sys log say nat failed and games report differently. QOS sys log reports its failed

Hmm this is new, i just did the factory reset via the ui all went ok, so I then login set the DSL up and IPV6. then i went to set security for https, i enabled now i can not connect to the router, and i get error from windows if i try to used the network ui to connect..https://ibb.co/jWmvL0Z also from a normaly web page.https://ibb.co/GPHXmZ8

For VPN, currently only IPv4 is supported. Do you set up IPV6 after the factory reset?
Which nat type did you select and which game did you run? What was the games report?
How did you set up the qos function? Do you encounter any issue while using qos?
Did 5g reconnection occur after the factory reset?
May I have the network topology, the serial number of your DSL-AX82U, and the email address you filled out for the feedback via PM?

Hi thanks for getting back to me, I was thinking I was not going to get a reply, so I am sorry I was a bit rude.

Right the first 2 pictures I deleted as it worked out to be a browser error, i did not try any other devices as only my main pc is connected via Lan.

This is my IPV6 settings https://ibb.co/TTh3C8b I use a google ipv6-ipv4 DNS as my ISP don't provide ipv6 one.

As you can see my ipv4 is getting routed yet my ipv6 is still shown and used bypassing the vpn.

Since the Soft reset. 5g is better and I have not noticed any problems.
