Hi, can I ask some help to enlighten my mind, please

I have Zephyrus S GX701GV RTX 2060, and I bought ASUS monitor VG248QG, is it okay that I set up this monitor as my second screen or use as "DUAL MONITOR" or EXTERNAL MONITOR, can I still use the feature of the monitor if I use this as a dual monitor or second screen like I can use the 165ghz refresh rate, 0.5 trace free. Or I just waste my money on this monitor ?

Hello crisdix,
The HDMI maximum export on this model is 60Hz.

Someone also answered my question here https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?119674-Laptop-and-external-monitor, and now I know that HDMI is only 60hz and I need DisplayPort as suggested in my other thread.
