GM501 Battery not charging (after complete discharge)

I have a ASUS ROG Zephyrus M GM501.
My battery only shows 3% and doesn't charge. This occurred after I forgot my System on and it ran out of battery.
I tried to disconnect everything and holding the powerbutton for 40s; uninstalling and reinstalling the windows battery driver, resetting the bios. unplugging the battery ....
it's also not the first time this happens. I had this bevor and in order to be able to update my bios I then have bought a new battery. this is around 5 Months ago. so the Battery I currently have is quite new and I was able to have the computer running on battery for several hours.
Is there a way to 'reset' the battery it self?
Any other suggestions?
I hope somebody can help me here;
