My problem is just the same as yours. My tweeters work just fine, but the left bass speaker mess up regularly.
A reboot fixes this (well, sometimes I must reboot 3-4 times).
I don't have the other problems you mention, but I agree that such an expensive system should not have such annoying issues.
I've had 2 ASUS ROG laptops before this - they did not have the sound problem, but I had keyboard issues with those.
Don't think I'll ever buy an ASUS product again 😞

I ended up returning it for repairs. When I got it back the problem was still there, so I got my money back and got a new one, different model.

Her's the Realtek audio driver I'm using:

This is the latest Realtek audio driver from ASUS:
If you have any issue (like Audio Wizard missing), try:
Last suggestion, reinstall your original Realtek driver from your eSupport folder:
eSupport/Software/Driver/Legacy/Audio/Realtek/Audio(Nahimic MIC Effect)/184.108.40.20609/8573/Setup.exe

Here's a link to a site that has your ASUS Driver DVD:
The smartest action would be to burn a copy of this Driver DVD. You could also mount the ISO file, copy the contents to a folder, rename the folder to "eSupport". This would create your eSupport folder.
For further info, look at my "Sticky" named "Make a copy of your eSupport Folder before formating your OS drive! "
I afraid if none of the drivers work, then you have a hardware issue and the laptop will need to be returned for repair, replacement, or refund.
