Fed up with the ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI audio problems and no communication.

Dear Asus

I'll get straight to it, the Z590 asus motherboard line up has consistant issues with it's audio drivers. There is a delay on waking up, there is a chance for random static to blast my ear drums and it's been 3 months since I reported it via a ticket. https://youtu.be/kiMFy8PxMqA?t=123 Like this video I just linked (which isn't made by me) the audio will randomly break when waking up killing my eardrums.

I've sent multiple emails to ASUS that were forwarded to HQ eventually acknowledging these problems and being promised new drivers on the 13th of July, it's now been two months and nothing so far and I'd say this is quite a big problem? When can I expect new drivers to resolve these issues?

Kind regards.

Yup this is exactly the crap I am running into as well, guess I won't bother making a video as it's clearcut in this thread @ STARRAIN@ROG

I hope you can forward the thread I have qouted and get back to me what is being done about this.

Hi Nuckels,

Have you tried other headset or speaker but also encounter the audio blasting?
Thank you.

Yes, it is not related to my devices, if you look in the thread https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?125331-ALC-4080-random-static-noise-(M13Apex)/page3#post84... here you can see exactly what to do to recreate this issue. Direct link to the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14PV2ftGUVw

This occurs with my logitech speakers, my samsung earbuds, any 3.5mm jack basicly. Front and back.

I implore you to look at that thread.

Hi Nuckels,

I'll forward to our tech team for further checking first.
Thank you.

Hi Nuckels,

I've shared the thread to our tech team last week, but unfortunately they cannot duplicate the audio blasting issue.
May I double confirm you also hear weird sound cuts when switching AI Cooling toggle?
I'll also forward the video to our tech team.
Thank you.

Yes, I have just tested this and this works to reproduce the issue.

Ok. So I've repro static noise using ASUS Dual Intelligent Processors 5 like Sasha did in his video. If you can't repro, try to use different songs, higher volume level and higher samping rate e.g. 192000 Hz and 24 Bit.
Audio track in my video: Metallica - Sad But True.
Volume level: 20%.
Speakers: EDIFIER R2750DB (line 1 RCA) and rear Realtek audio out (lime).
Also there is same weird sound cuts when I switching AI Cooling toggle and my mouse hangs sometimes for a second and not reacting (tried with SteelSeries Sensei Ten and ASUS ROG STRIX Evolve). When static sound plays you can see how volume slider is being slightly unresponsive, it's lagging when I change volume.
No errors, same behaviour with BIOS optimized default settings, different BIOS versions and even on clean Win 10 installation without Realtek driver (with Microsoft default audio driver).
This sound issue can occurs everywhere. Dual Intelligent Processors 5 - it's just the fastest way to repro this issue.
Imagine what people feel when this crap happens suddenly at the high volume when people don't expecting this at all

I just discovered that switching AI Cooling ON\OFF toggle in Dual Intelligent Processors 5 not only cause of sound cuts and mouse hang but also can crash Nvidia graphics card driver. Sometimes after another ON\OFF switch there might be longer loading (few seconds) in Dual Intelligent Processors 5 interface with displaying loading progress bar and in this moment graphics driver crash. I can see error in Windows Event Viewer with Live Kernel 141 code (Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered). This ON\OFF procedure somehow affecting USB (mouse and audio codec) but I have no idea why it is affecting graphics card. With Z590 motherboard I also experience screen flickering during OS boot if using CRU (Custom Resolution Utility). Problem which I never had with any motherboard before. I guess there is something wrong in how chipset works. Too much discomfort from one piece of hardware.

Hello community, how are you? I also come to say that I had the same problem, both, the audio blasting and the static noise occurs in the audio and it stays making that static rain noise until I reset the audio service via windows powershell or change the sampling rate in sonic studio 3

I take the opportunity to clarify that I use the analog audio input, and that I have already applied the firmware and updates and flash bios to correct any possible problem.
I really believe that all users of the Asus ROG range need the company to give us an answer since we have always been customers who bet on the brand.
I tried using bluetooth headphones and I had no problems
