Bifurcation for new X670E mobos?

AgentJean007

Anybody know if any of the upcoming X670E boards will support bifurcation?

Asus has shown a good history of such support: https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1037507

But I don't know how often that feature is available on a new board or it it only tends to come out with newer BIOS revisions.

Hi AgentJean007,
May I double confirm you would like to know the compatibility of PCIE bifurcation between Hyper M.2 series cards and add-on graphic cards for ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME motherboard and wish the model could be added in the following FAQ?
https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1037507
If you would like to know the information of other model, please share me the specific model.
Thank you.

Hi STARRAIN,

Yes, I'm wondering which (if any) X670E board will have such support. Not necessarily the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME, although I guess it is the most likely one.

In particular, I was hoping for:
- PCIEX16_1: GPU (x8 PCIe5)
- PCIEX16_2: x4x4 PCIe5

Or if it will be likely for any of the X670E boards through, say, a future BIOS update.

Regards.
