Beeps and Q Led issues

Thomas01
Level 7
I have recently built a new computer and after setting up have had some issues.

First off on start up it will make one long beep followed by three quick beeps and the reset light is flashing at 2 second intervals. The computers fine it starts up and runs with no issues however, the only real concerning bits that some of the ram isn't running at the speed it should.

Here is what it says in the bios-

DIMM_A1 G-Skill 16384MB 2666MHz
DIMM_A2 G-Skill 16384MB 2133MHz
DIMM_A3 G-Skill 16384MB 2666MHz
DIMM_A4 G-Skill 16384MB 2133MHz

As you can see all the ram sticks are the same, but two of them are running slower, we have tried switching the slots, but that tends to cause a ram error and the computer won't start up properly anymore.

Graphics card is a GeForce RTX 4080, CPU is Intel Core i9 13900K and motherboard is PRIME Z790-P WIFI D4.

Any ideas how I can fix this to get the RAM all moving at the same speed and the beeping errors to stop.

Mismatched ram... Pull 2 sticks and try... Usually mismatched ram isnt a good practice.

Hello, Thomas01.

When the beeps sound, is there any abnormality at the same time? For instance, can't boot or blue screen?
About beeps, please refer to [Motherboard] How to use buzzer to troubleshoot monitor display issues to confirm the number of beeps and the corresponding issues.
As your title mentioned about Q-LED, do you have any Q-LED lights up?
Please refer to [Motherboard] ASUS motherboard troubleshooting via Q-LED indicators.

In addition, may I askÂ*what brand and model you use for your memory? Is it on the Prime Z790-P WiFi D4 memory QVL list?
If not, it is recommended that you refer to the purchasing and installation guide and the memory on the memory QVL list to cross-test.

Thank you.

There are no issues with the computer everything works fine besides the ram not all running at the right speed troubleshooting via Q-LED suggests it may be a graphic card error but nothing really stands out as we have tried resetting it.

RAM is G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-32GTZN and it is on the QVL list though I saw it had some timing settings on the list so will try that.

Update I figure out what was cause the graphics card error it only happens when I turn the computer on before turning my screens on otherwise it is fine and won't beep.

Ramp speed however still won't match.

Hello, Thomas01.

Please refer to page 1 of the user manual for information on the related configuration of PCIe x16 and M.2 slots.

Meanwhile, it is also recommended that you test with minimal components to isolate the possible cause and cross-test the amount of memory with the slot.
