Hi i need help with my new setup.

My computer will keep crashing when idling if i set my power plan in windows 10 to Balanced. PCI Express link state power management is off.

It wont crash when im gaming or under heavy load.

I can game for hours in balanced power plan. But once i quit the game and leave my computer idle for a few mins, it will just freeze or auto restart.

Anyidea what causing this issue ??

If i run my system in High Performance no crashing or freezing. But i dont want the core frequency and vcore to be lock at max.

Hi there,
Was there any error message ?
You can trace back in event viewer or other log tool after the auto shutdown.
What's your BIOS version and the game you are playing?
Thank you.

Have to enabled power saving features in the BIOS. C-States need to be enabled and all the throttling CPU features need to be enabled. And turn on Link State Power Management to test.

Crashing or freezing at idle is a symptom of low voltage at high frequencies ...
Check and rise V/F #6,7 and 8, or increase adaptive voltage
