Asus Z690 APEX - Q-code 53 when restarting but never on cold boot.

Hi,

So I'm having this weird issue I can't seem to find a solution for. I have a Z690 Apex with a 12900K (I removed any OC to crosscheck if it was that issue). I have a Corsair Vengeance kit DDR5 at 5600MHz (yes, not on QVL but it's the same memory chip and speeds as other QVL modules).

My system works perfectly fine except when I want to restart. On cold boots and shutdowns everything works fine. On every restart the board get stuck to Q-code 53. Only solution is to reset with the power button and do another cold boot from scratch. Anyone ever had the same issue? Any solution?

I'm running latest BIOS 1101 but any previous one had the same issue. I ran MemTest86 and memory is absolutely stable. Tried to search for a similar issue but when I searc for Q-code 53 I only find tons of threads about the Hero board...

I ordered a new RAM also displayed on the QVL G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64 Go (2 x 32 Go) DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5RK list I should receive it tomorrow to try I will let you know.

I have a problem only when I reboot when the computer is running for too long (6-7 hours).

ROG Maximus z790 Hero (0904 bios)
i9-13900ks stock settings + Corsair H150 water cooling
4 x 32GB DDR5 6000mhz F5-6000J3238G32GX2-TZ5RK Gskill (available in QVL list)
1 x Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
ME 16.1.25.2124

If I also have the same problem I can play without problems but if I restart the pc it freezes at code 53 I want to think that the problem is with the motherboard.

Me, just turning on the pc and playing something for 20 minutes with that is enough so that when I restart my computer the computer gets stuck in code 53

There is nothing left that I haven't tried.

Here's what I've tried to fix this issue.
1. Turning off fast boot
2. XMP on and off (no memtest issues in both cases. 0 errors)
3. Increasing the memory voltage from 1.4 to 1.43
4. Replacing with ram with different latency (I changed from 30 to 32)
5. CMOS reset and return to default settings.
6. Memory changed

I have one last try left, a different brand memory is coming tomorrow. If there is a problem there, I will try to return the motherboard.
