The new board has this problem too, but not that often.
Returned board:
- Happened daily multiple times
Replacement board since 27.10.2021:
- 13.11.2021
- 26.11.2021
Sometimes the system crashes while waking, but that's really rare. Only happened while a WOL a few times.
Haven't done a BIOS updates, so I am still on 3601, but I'm updating it now.

I have now tested the settings of NuadaXXX. (RGB)
Without success. After two shutdowns the error already occurred.
I'll send the board back to ASUS on Monday for an RMA.

I had this ****ty program installed and just started it 😉
But no idea if I started it after replacing the board.
I don't think it's because of the app. But who knows. 1.07 GB for such a ****ty tool. Wow! Just uninstalled it.
I just started to puke after I updated the BIOS and checked the fan profile with Fan Xpert: All my profiles got deleted (they are stored on the drive C:\ProgramData\ASUS\Dip\FanXpert\Profiles) because "new hardware" LOL. Instead of moving the profiles to the trash... holy ****, happy to had a backup. As we all know, ALL mainboard apps suck, but some suck more.
They should keep an eye on functionality instead of the UI. You open these apps for a few minutes for a few times and not every day.

I am also the owner of a Crosshair Dark Hero mainboard and have the same problems that are dealt with in this topic.
My PC doesn't always start when I press the start button on the case or on the mainboard, it only helps to completely disconnect the PC from the power. Then I can start the PC normally again.
My system:
CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x
Mainboard: Crosshair Dark Hero / BIOS 3801
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB 3800 CL 14
System hard drive: WD Black SN850
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT reference design
PSU: Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 12 1200w
The problem can be avoided if I change the setting for ERP to S5 in the BIOS. But then every now and then I have the problem that my PC doesn't boot properly.
Usually the yellow (DRAM) or the white (VGA) Q-LED lights up.
To troubleshoot, I swapped all components for others, except for the mainboard and the CPU.

Could we perhaps gather how many of us with the issue have G.Skill ram?
I'm also on G.Skill Trident Z Neo but 3600 CL16 ver. Should all use similar design/RGB controller though? Only difference being memory IC configurations.

PSU: be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11

So that makes at least 3 of us already with Trident Z Neo RGB memory.
Anyone else with the problem please post your RAM model/brand.
Who knows it could be narrowed down to some incompatibility with RAM's RGB controller and motherboard RGB controller? (Just some wild guessing here...)
Since so far it seems to be affected by AURA setting in bios, and at least 3 of us have near identical RGB memory kits, so there could be a connection?
