1003 BiosZ690-A GAMING WIFI D4: Issue with selection the Primary Display in the Bios

Wolfsaccount

@Asus - can you fix this problem - again? I have a issue with the selection of the Primary Display in the new 1003 Bios, see picture, in older Offizial Version 0901 everything is fine!

Explanation:
I have installed a RTX 3080 and i am using also the iGPU at the same time. At the RTX 3080 i have a 4K LG 27 Zoll connected over Display Port, at the Display Port from the Mainboard a 27 Zoll WQHD. What ever i adjust, PCIE, PEG Slot or Auto, the Primary Display (Bootscreen) is the Screen connected at the Display Port from the Mainboard. But i want that the Primary Display and Bootscreen is the Screen connected to the RTX 3080.

When i use three Screens at the same time, i have another 7 Zoll Screen with HDMI that i normaly use for monitoring the hole System with AIDA64 Sensor Panel, it is also crazy.

The resolution from this TFT is 800x480. When i connecting this TFT on HDMI from the Board and the 4K Screen on the RTX 3080, then the 4K Screen connected to the RTX 3080 shows the 800x480 Resolution from the 7 Zoll TFT connected to the HDMI from the Board and i can read nothing in the Bios. Also on the 7 Zoll screen because it is to little.

So why are the Board shows the BIOS on all three displays at the same time?

From my side the four entrys in the Bios makes no sense, because all do the same, it shows the Bios on all connected Screens. I have a MSI Z690 checked, but i send it back about a lot of other problems, but this Board shows the Bios only on one Screen, at that screen that i have selected in the Bios.

Please can you check this - thank you very much.

Hi Wolfsaccount,
If you select PCIE in bios 0901, the bootscreen is the monitor connected to the RTX 3080?
Does it also show the bios utility on all three displays at the same time in bios 0901?
Are the bios all default settings and only adjust Primary Display and iGPU Multi-Monitor?
Thank you.

Sorry for late answer:

"If you select PCIE in bios 0901, the bootscreen is the monitor connected to the RTX 3080?"
Yes correct!

"Does it also show the bios utility on all three displays at the same time in bios 0901?"
No, with 0901 only on the monitor connected to the RTX 3080 shows the bios when i select PCIE or PEG! With 1003 it show the bios on all three displays at the same time.

Are the bios all default settings and only adjust Primary Display and iGPU Multi-Monitor?
Yes!

And for information, the new Beta Bios 1201 again have the same issue - please fix it like in Bios 0901!

Hi Wolfsaccount,
Thank you for your reply.
May I have the following information?
- the serial number of your motherboard via PM (If you use our graphics card, please also share me the serial number of your graphics card via pm.)
- the brand and the model name of your CPU, RAM, PSU, OS drive and the three monitors
(Please check the specific model name such as Kingston KF453C20RBK2/16.)
- Do you install the graphics card in the PCIEX16(G5) slot?
- OS version & OS build
Thank you.

Sorry, but all this information is not necessary about the issue! What is going on, at Asus! Fix it and test it in your own Labs, my god!

Hi Wolfsaccount,
I'm afraid I need basic PC information for feedback.
Could you please help to check the information for me?
Thank you.

Hi Wolfsaccount,
Our tech team have tested the motherboard and monitors at hand on bios 1201 to connect a 4k monitor to RTX3080 graphics card with DP and connect a 2k monitor to motherboard HDMI. For Primary Display, select Auto or PEG slot, the Primary Display and Bootscreen is the screen connected to the RTX3080.
Here is the test video.

Do you adjust primary display and secondary display settings in windows?

For three monitors, our tech team don't have 800*480 monitor, so tried 1024*768 as the third monitor. Although all of them shows the bios screen, it is normal to adjust the bios in one of the monitor.

Is it same as yours? Do you mean it only show bios in one screen(the monitor connected to RTX3080) on bios 0901, and the others are black screen?
Thank you.
