Z170 Pro Gaming Slow Boot

Nodeity

It's taking around a minute for my Windows 10 Asus Z170 Pro Gaming system to boot. Doesn't seem to matter whether I set it to eco, rocket or away. I have 16 Gig of DDR4 3000 ram, a 256 mb Samsung 850 evo and a Geforce GTX 980ti Strix Gpu. Is there something I'm missing or is this just a slow Mobo? My last Mobo booted in about 15seconds, this one takes a minute or so. Thanks

Yeah, Fresh install, all new system and I probably should mention that the CPU is a Skylake Core i7-6700. Time is from boot to desktop.

Has the M.2 port been set to PCIE not SATA mode?

M.2 is set to auto

So no help on this then?

I know this is an old thread but in case anyone looks it up, the solutionmay be similar to this:
