XMP BIG Problem

allocen
Level 7
So my short problem is that due that i enabled the xmp profile for my 4 kits ram, each of 8GB at 2400Mhz, the pc could no longer
start. No signal, not boot splash screen, no nothing.

My specs:
Motherboard: Maximus VII Formula
Processor: Intel i7 4790K at 4Ghz
Ram: 4x HyperX Savage at 2400Mhz each
Cooler: Noctua D14
Video card: MSI R9 280
HDD: 1 TB WD
SSD: Samsung Evo Pro 128gb & Samsung Evo 250gb
Power supply: Seasonic x-1250

So how this started:
So at the recommandation of a friend, he said to me: Why you have bought 32gb ram at 2400mhz with XMP Ready if you
are not using it at its full capacity. (My ram is 4 kits of 8gb each one at 2400mhz, same model HyperX Savage). Without having
the xml profile enabled my ram ran at 1666 Mhz. So i decided to go to the uefi bios and select the xml profile where i saw i had 2 profiles
to choose from, so i selected the first one. All good, till the restart where the pc could not longer send any video signal or the boot
ROG Splash screen. I presed a couple of times on the reset button at the back of my motherboard, clearing CMOS. Finally started but
i was pressing for nothing the DEL button or F2 because it did not want to enter in the BIOS neither way. Tried again and again reset
and reset and nothing, i still got the same result over and over again the code from my motherboard was 55 saying that ram is not
inserted, but what the hell, there is inserted. The funny part is that after each time clearing the CMOS i could enter in Windows but i could
not enter into the BIOS. The weirder part was that even the AI Suite 3 could not start anymore saying something like "failed to call procedure"
or something like that. So this morning i took the ram out from the slots, last 3 ones and i putted them back. At my surprise, i could finally
enter into the BIOS, that code on motherboard this was A2. Before seeing that the xml profile was still enabled even after hundreads
of reset, i pressed already f10 and save, so it was too late... and after the same result i could not longer recieve any signal video
or at least the boot splash screen. So even i press again the reset button i could still not enter into the bios but i can boot into the windows
but after a next reboot i'll have the same behavior as above.

Please anyone, help me, or explain me why is this **** does not work.
I'M DESPERATE
I do not know what to do anymore, i am panicked.

Thank you, Daniel

I don't combine anything. I have 4 kits of this one https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Ej7CAeRnhbk/maxresdefault.jpg, each of 8gb at 2400mhz !!1 They are all the same man...

allocen...I was on my phone this morning so just quickly posted up the link....I do think you should read it.

Do you mean sticks of RAM or kits?

Is that 2 kits or 4 single sticks?

Your kits are not the "same".....even if you buy "same" make and model....

When buying RAM you have to decide on quantity and frequency based on a realistic expectation of what your platform and CPU memory controller can handle and then buy a SINGLE kit.

I owe you a beer if you can help me figure this out and to calm myself... . I really want to set them correctly so i can run to 2400Mhz with no problem and like my system to POST.

2 kits, the model is HyperX Savage HX324C11SRK2/16 2X8GB 2400MHz XMP, so basically 32gb of ram. My dad installed them and i asked him in what order he putted them and he said that first two kits into the first two slots and the next ones into the next 2 slots, thats what he can recall. So based on that, as i said this morning i swap the positions, i took the 2nd ram from A2 and putted to B1 and the one from B1 to A2. But still the same. Now i do not know anymore which order is... . Is there any chance to figure this out and put them correctly?

OK so to start there is no guarantee you can use all the sticks together. We can of course try to work it out.

First thing i would do is to take all the sticks out and separate the two kits...there should be serial numbers on the sticks which will let you know which two sticks are one kit.

When you have done that use one kit on the recommended slots and see if you can run XMP.....if you can all good, swap out one kit for the other and see if that second kit will run XMP....if so OK.

When you do this take a look in the RAM timings subsection ( DRAM Timing Control) of the BIOS and take a note of the settings of the primary timings that XMP sets...

I think it will be 11-13-14-?-?T (need to know the question mark values)

With those timings we can try and set the RAM up manually...

Can you also scan down secondary and tertiary timings to see if they are the same for both kits!

In Extreme Tweaker menu set AI Overclock tuner to Manual, set DRAM Frequency to 2400, go into RAM timings and manually enter primary timings 11-13-14-?-?T (leave everything else on auto), set DRAM voltage Vdimm or whatever it's called to 1.65v for all channels...

Can you also see what the board is setting for "CPU system agent voltage" at XMP....

Other tweaks that might help setting up manually

In DIGI+ section

Set DRAM Current Capability to 120% or 130%
Set DRAM Power Phase Control to Optimized or Extreme....(the board might do this automatically if you increase current capability...don't be surprised if it's greyed out)
