XMP BIG Problem

allocen

So my short problem is that due that i enabled the xmp profile for my 4 kits ram, each of 8GB at 2400Mhz, the pc could no longer
start. No signal, not boot splash screen, no nothing.

My specs:
Motherboard: Maximus VII Formula
Processor: Intel i7 4790K at 4Ghz
Ram: 4x HyperX Savage at 2400Mhz each
Cooler: Noctua D14
Video card: MSI R9 280
HDD: 1 TB WD
SSD: Samsung Evo Pro 128gb & Samsung Evo 250gb
Power supply: Seasonic x-1250

So how this started:
So at the recommandation of a friend, he said to me: Why you have bought 32gb ram at 2400mhz with XMP Ready if you
are not using it at its full capacity. (My ram is 4 kits of 8gb each one at 2400mhz, same model HyperX Savage). Without having
the xml profile enabled my ram ran at 1666 Mhz. So i decided to go to the uefi bios and select the xml profile where i saw i had 2 profiles
to choose from, so i selected the first one. All good, till the restart where the pc could not longer send any video signal or the boot
ROG Splash screen. I presed a couple of times on the reset button at the back of my motherboard, clearing CMOS. Finally started but
i was pressing for nothing the DEL button or F2 because it did not want to enter in the BIOS neither way. Tried again and again reset
and reset and nothing, i still got the same result over and over again the code from my motherboard was 55 saying that ram is not
inserted, but what the hell, there is inserted. The funny part is that after each time clearing the CMOS i could enter in Windows but i could
not enter into the BIOS. The weirder part was that even the AI Suite 3 could not start anymore saying something like "failed to call procedure"
or something like that. So this morning i took the ram out from the slots, last 3 ones and i putted them back. At my surprise, i could finally
enter into the BIOS, that code on motherboard this was A2. Before seeing that the xml profile was still enabled even after hundreads
of reset, i pressed already f10 and save, so it was too late... and after the same result i could not longer recieve any signal video
or at least the boot splash screen. So even i press again the reset button i could still not enter into the bios but i can boot into the windows
but after a next reboot i'll have the same behavior as above.

Please anyone, help me, or explain me why is this **** does not work.
I'M DESPERATE
I do not know what to do anymore, i am panicked.

Thank you, Daniel

I don't know exactly, but in this morning when i was pulling out the ram i don't recall seeing any sticker on sides ... i might be wrong cuz it was morning, but i'm pretty sure i did not see any ...

So i came home, i removed the right fan and pull out all the 3 rams, took some photos, looked at the serial number and i compared latest 3 numbers 485, 491 and 492. Now i had to guess if the first ram on position A1 was either 486 or 484, but i thought it does not matter so i putted the 485 to B1, 491 to A2 and 492 to B2. I putted the fan back (god forgive me how many times i took and put that right fan out) and i started the PC. At the first time, still it did not want to POST, no signal, nothig. So i switched it off manually and i pressed that reset btton from the back, i waited few seconds and i started the pc again, after ~ 10 seconds the splash screen appeared i could pressed the del button and entered to the BIOS, and i loaded the optimized defaults settings. Now i am a bit scary to try again even on profile 2 which is 2133 mhz, neither say the profile 1 on 2400mhz. Also i looked up with CPU-z and checked the SPD tab. I attached a photo below. Take a look. What should i do? I do really want to work under 2400mhz.55921

Can you print that screen for each slot on your board slot 1 slot 2 slot 3 slot 4...?

there is says 2400 profile is 11-14-14-33-1T

Now i tried to set again on profile 1 and guess what, could no longer post anything. I had to reset again. Any ideeas why it does work perfectly on profile 2 and on profile 1 not at all?

They are all the same.

UPDATE: On profile 2 works perfectly.

The higher the frequency the harder it is for the CPU to run...2133 is not 2400

Just try setting the RAM up manually as I described....

Ok thats weird though, on CPU-Z it does show me 11-14-14-33-1T and the bios on profile 1 setted to 11-13-14-32-2N. So to be more specific on profile 1 its like that: XMP DDR3-2401 11-13-14-32-2N-1.65V-135V and on profile 2: XMP DDR3-2133 11-13-13-30-2N-1.60V-1.30V. So bios says something and CPU-Z otherwise. What should i do?

The **** is that hard for an i7 4790K to take 2400Mhz? i got a friend with hyperx beast 16 gb at 2400mhz on xmp profile 1 and same processor as mine and for him it does work perfectly. Why not for me?

Did as you said and nothing, same result.

CPU IMCs are all different....maybe your friend has a single kit? got lucky with a stronger CPU

Not sure there is much more I can suggest to be honest 😞
