Just for the heck of it I insured my i7 3770K cost me $25.00 USD. Well I pushed it to far and it would no longer boot to windows.
It was de-lidded by the way. I did seal the IHS with Permatex silicon. (not just to send it in I de-lidded it that way) I received my new processor today took about two weeks.

Thank You Intel - I will gladly do any R&D work you need

Great.....

😄

Fresh black silicone, and Phobyas 2 component thermal glue resin can be good to have sometimes..

No further explanation needed i think..

Silicone is gods gift to modders/ WC maniacs, and overclockers.. (just make sure its fresh/date)

Ban superglue

Just finished a mod with some Pattex (not really a silicone, but )---> Bed-- Zzzzzzz

Old school silicone is TOP

I saw the insurance on the site and thought it sounded a bit to good to be true but its nice to see they take care of there customers

Especially the ones who kick them the extra $$ by buying there device separate instead of included in a prebuilt pc

But over here its never any problems to use the warranty, if the cpu drop dead..

No need for the insurance, you get an new cpu anyway..
