windows error..

i set up today my build with my asus maxims v extreme an my i7 3770k so when im goind to intall windows 7 i set priority to UEFI then dvddrive then hard drive but i get this error "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks." so i change the priority to dvd drive UEFI then hard drive and i get stuck at expanding widows files 15% my sata config i IDE i thried with AHCI also but o diference can ou help me plz i have encounter again this error but i dont remember how i fixed it ....

I guess you have a hard disk not an SSD. In BIOS you have to set AHCI for your drives, then you go to BOOT settings to CSM and you set ENABLE. Inside this menu you set Legacy ROM priority to all settings or ROM first and then UEFI. When it boots from DVD and ready to install Windows choose your hard drive, then choose delete all partitions and reformat and let install. At this stage if any message come up that windows cannot be installed on this drive, choose IGNORE and continue with installation.
