Hey guys,
I wanna upgrade my maximus IV extreme for a maximus V extreme, as I want the extra PCI slots.
However i have a watercooled system and i really love the hybrid waterblock thing on the formula.
so my question is, could i pull the waterblock of the formula, and fit it to the extreme?
There is a dud formula that im bidding for on ebay, so its not gonna break the bank. I just wanna know if its possible.
EK's makes two different blocks for the formula and the extreme, but that because the sothbridge cooling is clearly different on the two boards, its all connected on the extreme and two separate units on the formula. so im not sure just from looking at the pics.
can someone help me out.
