Will a 2560x1440 monitor work with a GTX770m video card?

Just got a G750JX with a 3GB GTX770M monitor and I'm looking to get a 27" monitor to use with it. I noticed that laptop said 1920x1080 when I bought the thing, but when I go to the GeForce website it gives a bunch of numbers for the maximum resolution:

Will my new laptop be able to handle a monitor like the below, or am I limited to 1920x1080 monitors if I don't want to sacrifice clarity and image quality?

Hi Zor206 🙂

1920x1080 is just the resolution of the screen the laptop comes with. The GPU itself can support larger displays but how is determined by what connections ASUS have put on the laptop. What connections does it have...is there a dual DVI port on it.... a HDMI port a DisplayPort ?

Okay...just looked....it has mini display port and HDMI. So you just need (for example) a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable.....in fact there is one offered with that first monitor in the "frequently bought together" 😉

It will work but one gtx 770m will struggle to play any game at 2560 x 1440 resolution.
