which ssd is better for gaming?

I already have an M4 and am happy with it.Thinking if getting on for my other computer, but there seem to be faster drives avaialble:
What SSD is best?
Are the Sandforce issues over now?

I have the OC Vertex 4, 256 GB, and not have had one problem yet, and I am playing BF 3, Diablo 3, and Medal of Honor.

I have Vertex 4 aswell and it's speeds are amazing, running at 500+/500+ read write (max is 560 read 510 write on newest firmare) take it 🙂 but be aware that OCZ is going bankrupt, you might wanna go with the Samsung 840 SSD 250 gb, you will be safe then. great speeds aswell and doesn't go bankrupt, it does cost a bit more though. but it's more reliable

Well , I will stay away from OCZ if you want warranty, they are already on the watch list for bankruptcy risk, they even have problem in US as they don't disclosure the real numbers to the share holders, speaking of it they are also in late to give a new report on it. This and their lost of money So everything indicate they will close soon. Intel as 5 years warranty series 520 SSD, they are reliable to give such a warranty. Since you have a Crutial, they are not bad too. I use only Intel since 3 years now and they still running and running ( like the pink rabbit )

I just installed one of the new Vector 256GBs in my rig - incredibly quick, noticeably faster, rock solid stable ...

Whichever one is bigger is better for gaming. Seriously, you won't notice much difference between different SSDs in terms of how fast the next map loads but you'll notice a difference if you have to resort to installing the game on a HDD because you ran out of space. You'll also notice a big difference in performance if you can't afford a new video card because you spent all of your money on a premium SSD. 😄 So I'd cruise slick deals until you find the biggest one you can reasonably afford and go with that.

Exactly that. There will be no noticeable difference from one brand to another. Brand is personal choice only

This. You'll only notice the difference in speed if you run synthetic benchmarks. For normal usage and gaming just get the drive with the biggest capacity that you can afford

AS SSD score on my SSDs are...

OCZ Vertex 4 128gb is (1088) on FW 1.5

Corsair force 3 120gb is (346) on FW 5.03

the vertex 4 is used for my OS the corsair is now used for games
