Where can I find ACPI Driver?

Hey.

I just reisntalled windows 8.1, and on my device manager there's an "Unknown Device" that I can't find drivers for. The hardware id is "ACPI\PNP0A0A\2&DABA3FF&1".

Upon googling, it took me to the following article: http://kb.stonegroup.co.uk/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=227 - which suggests its a component for the bios on Asus motherboards. It instructs me to find an ACPI Driver for my motherboard - Asus Maximus VII Ranger.

I can't find the ACPI driver, what should I do? This was also causing slow startups as event viewer says the driver is failing to load.

Thanks.

Hello

did you install both the chipset and ME drivers? One of these should fix that.

Yeah I did, they didn't fix it. Although I just downloaded one of the drivers from the link I posted and that seemed to have done the trick.

Although the "Unknown Device" message in device manager isn't fixed, the event viewer log "The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device ACPI\PNP0A0A\2&daba3ff&1." isn't fixed, which has something to do with the same device. I had this error before reformatting also, and I believe it's affecting startup speeds.
