When is a PC a R.O.G PC?

Hey there, i got a EVGA Z68 FTW Board right now, and since im going for a Phoebus and maybe a ASUS GPU. Im thinking about building a ROG build. But when is a PC a ROG PC?

Can i call my PC R.O.G themed when i only got a Motherboard from the R.O.G series, or do i need more parts to be a real rog build?

You need everything to make it a ROG build...keyboard, mouse, motherboard, sound card and VGA(if you're lucky) lol only kidding, just get a ROG motherboard and you're set 😉

ROG is a state of mind. It is a way of being. You are ROG in your heart and not only in your case.


For me the motherboard is the foundation of any system so it is a natural place so locate ones ROG'erness.

But let me make it official.

i dont class my pc as ROG yet as i only have an ASUS GPU but when my new case bits arrive such as the 3D ROG logo and i have all the LED's changed to red i will be happy to call it ROG

ROG is when you decide that it is ROG. For myself, I own an ROG laptop, so that makes it easy. However, I don't use the ROG mouse (Logitech G700 is way better).

Ye, i got a Mamba and the ROG mouse looks good, but im sure there are other mices out there which beat the R.O.G in every aspect 🙂
