What are normal temperatures at idle/load/extreme load modes?

I have Ramapge IV Extreme, Core i7 3930k, Corsair Dominator GT CMT16GX3M4X2133C9, Asus GTX 680 DirectCU II 4GB, Corsair H60 Hydro series cooler, CM Storm Trooper cabinet with default fans

My idle Temperatures as AI Suite II says---

CPU- 33°C Motherboard- 42°C PCH- 47°C Subzero Sense 1- 37.7°C Subzero Sense 2- 36.9°C

My load Temperatures as AI Suite II says (2 seconds after playing Crysis3)---

CPU- 44°C Motherboard- 48°C PCH- 59°C Subzero Sense 1- 41.7°C Subzero Sense 2- 41.9°C

Are they normal?....Also I overclock my CPU TO 4.2 Ghz just fine but I keep cpu level up disabled while gaming stuff, I do 3d rendering sometimes so I overclock the CPU for performance boost...I will post my tempratures while 3d rendering...

Hm... the thing is that you need to know your CPU's individual core temps... - that CPU temp Ai Suite is showing you is perhaps the Tcase, which may not be so important...

You need to keep your core temps below 70-75C for long term use.

Now, you may have 2 problems there... first, you can not really install any other temperature measuring application with Ai Suite installed - they will conflict and will cause more trouble; second, the H60 isn't really competitive for cooling the 3930k...

At this point I would not do anything - keep Ai Suite and DON'T over clock! Your present temps seems OK...

If you want to push your CPY, then first get a better cooler for it, then figure out a way to monitor your CPU core temps (perhaps by completely uninstall Ai Suite and use something else instead)

Thanks for the reply Zka17!!
Ohk so individual core means all the 6 cores from Core0 to Core5 right?... but isn't the main temp is average of all cores?..
I don't know much about temperature monitoring...I never did it for previous builds...
I think I will go with your advice of not Overclocking with H60 cooler...I also thought so but didn't have choice when I bought it...I will upgrade it sooner Any suggestions?
And also about other monitoring software..Is there any software which shows perfect individual core temps? I googled and found "Real Temp".would you recommend it?
One more thing... In India it's 42°C here from 1pm to 5pm and 36°C at night and morning... And I don't have A.C. in my room...I think I should not overclock with such ambient temps...what you think?

Nope, that temp is not the average of all cores... as I said, perhaps it's the temp of the IHS (CPU casing), which could be very different then the core temps, specially under load conditions...

When it's about overclocking, temps are the factors which determine your OC limits... - if your ambient is very high (it is), then obviously you will have serious limitations...

For temp monitoring there are a bunch of softwares - one of them is Real Temp, then you have Core Temp, HWMonitor, AIDA64 and perhaps many more... However, be advised that Ai Suite is not playing nice when an other temp monitoring application is installed!!! You can have only one temp monitoring application installed at a time!

Yeah Ohk...I didn't know that....I think If that's my CPU casing Temperature...core temperatures might be little high....

I will uninstall AI Suite II.. before installing any other software....two programs using the same sensors will be a problem.... Right!
And probably I will never overclock in Summer (unless i get good water cooling and A.C. in my room)....For the time I will just buy good Hydro cooler better than H60...You have any suggestions?

if you want corsair you have the H100i or H110i ( last one is dual 140mm fan slot )
and there is other out there too.

Thanks mate!....I too was thinking same...Will see if they are available in India....

Zka 17 Is this the VRM Area you were talking about?--

And I have this rear fan extra as right now there is h60 radiator fit...I installed it on side panel (red marked area) there was 120 mm fan holes but I somehow managed it with doing one extra hole....and idle temps are down by 3-4°C

Yeap, for a 3930k you need at least a dual 120mm radiator... - but, having those closed loop cooling systems for the CPU has a big weakness...

You can cool the CPU in an average-to-high level, but most of the time you're cutting the airflow around the VRMs - which will make your system unstable... so, just keep in mind and be sure that you have a fan blowing on the VRM area...

Nope, the VRM is above that pink thing... you can see the heatsink which is black, as I said, above that pink thing...

Oh then If I install a radiator above that, it will block the airflow around there...what should I do?
