I will be coming over to team red for the first time ever. I recently got the new AMD 7950X and will pair it with Gskill Trident 6000 30CL DDR5 and 4090 GPU. I won’t be overclocking other than just turning on Expo for the DDR5.*
What I would like to know is if there is anything that I need to enable or disable in BIOS to get the best performance out of my CPU? I’ve heard some people say turning off SMT can improve things.
Anyways, just looking to find out if there are things I need to look out for that might hold my performance back. *
