My vcore is going crazy and wanted to know if its normal... It fluctuates from 0.825 to 1.453 every few seconds when idle and under load it fluctuates from 1.355 to 1.458.

This is my first buid so quite worried, not looking to overclock just wanted to make sure its defo normal and not somet that needs RMA'ing.

Cheers Guys

My system Specs:

AMD FX9370 with H80i (idles at 29 and max 55)
Crosshair V Formula Z
8gb Corsair 1866 Vengance Ram
AX860 Psu
4gb R9 270x GPU

Why?!

I really don't have time for RMA, the system is only weeks old... Are ASUS support talking rubbish do you think?

But what is the problem?! Why would you want to RMA?!

Basically I sent them the VCORE voltages picture and they said it is not normal and if not resolved by a CMOS reset it needs an RMA.

Oh, sorry, I thought that I'm writing my previous post in an other thread...

Well, personally, if the system works stable I wouldn't RMA just for that faulty Vcore reading... but also, you can check the voltages on that Monitoring tab in BIOS... - is it showing the wrong one there too?

Bios shows the exact same as windows, I have noticed if I set the vcore manually to 1.45 the fluctuation is tiny 1.38 -> 1.49. When the vcore drops to 0.800 ish so does the cpu frequency from 4.4ghz to 1.4ghz ish, It defo looks like a power saving feature but I don't understand why ASUS thisk its ABNORMAL... I just want an 'YES ITS NOMAL' ot 'NO SEND IT BACK' lol

Nah, that's normal! Mine is doing the same - I would not send it back if otherwise doing it's job...

Well, not sure what and how you have explained the "issue" to Asus Support - and what they have understood from it...

I repeat: If your temps are OK and the system is stable, just enjoy it!
