Hello all...
I just went hog wild and got myself the latest and greatest:
Maximus VI Hero, Haswell 4770K (4.2GHz), 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866, H100i Water Cooler, NZXT Switch 810 Full Tower.
Question regarding variable CPU frequency...When I load AI Suite 3, my CPU frequency is locked at 4200MHz and the voltage is locked at 1.200 volts. I've seen a quite a few videos on Youtube of JJ from Asus demonstrating AI Suite 3. In almost all videos, I can see that CPU frequency and voltage vary (as low as 500MHz and as low as 0.05 volts).
I'm not sure which settings need to be turned on or off in the EUFI / AI Suite 3 to take advantage of such low power consumption. Intel Speed Step Technology seems to be enabled. What am I missing?
