Usb issues

Hi
I am running Extreme 4 with 2005 Bios and all is stable and working besids the the issues i have with the USB
1.It is taking a very long time for a usb devise ( simple stick etc) to get connected
2.There are cases when connecting a second usb devise is causing the USB mouse adaptor to stops working normaly.

Have you installed the chipset driver or are you running microsoft drivers? USB 2.0 or 3.0?

i am running 2.0 and 3.0 togather, how can i check about my drivers, i really cannot remember.

Best to just download the latest USB 3.0 and chipset drivers and install them if you can't remember. they will simply install over the top if you have them or install fresh if you don´t.

Other posibilities are 3.0 ports share IRQ with PCIe if you have a lot of PCIe lanes filled...etc maybe a posibility of interference there?? Not sure about this....
