Unable to POST when EXPO enabled on X870-F (and a possible workaround)

Hello everyone, recently my MSI X870 Tomahawk's CPU fan and pump headers went faulty, sent for a replacement / repair but got a refund instead. I picked up ROG X870-F as my new board.

I built my pc again, updated BIOS to lastest (0706) and started setting my BIOS up (like Fan curves, RAM).

RAM kit is 2x16GB G.Skill Flare X5 6000MHz 30-38-38 (F5-6000J3038F16GX2-FX5, Hynix A-Die), RAM is on QVL list (Trident Z5 with same timings is listed which has same PCB), motherboard is also listed on G.Skill's QVL list. I have Ryzen 7 7700 for the CPU. Running single gen4 M2 plugged to M2_1 so no lane sharing.

I tried enabling EXPO first to test, i usally adjust my timings later on, but no, system fails to post (DRAM light lights, system shuts down after couple minutes) then boots as safe mode, discarding my settings. EXPO I, II and Tuned all have same results. I've read reports / other posts that a lot of people that have Asus X870 motherboards having RAM issues on later BIOSes.

I tried flashing 0606 to test if it fixes the issue but no luck, having same resuts on 0606.

I've discovered a strange workaround, first of all i'm still on 0606, so i don't know if this will work on 0706. I cleared CMOS with CMOS reset button, i loaded optimized defaults when it booted to BIOS, disabled fast boot on boot section (don't know if this helps).

I turned the EXPO on AMD OC sub-menu, not the Asus Tuning (AI Tweaker), did a save and reboot. After some memory training (around 5 min if i remember correctly) system booted successfully.

I booted to BIOS again to see if i can boot with the timings i've used on Tomahawk. I adjusted timings on AMD OC sub-menu (converted values to HEX since AMD OC menu timings are on HEX) adjusted voltages accordingly then did a save and reboot.

System booted successfully again, running my kit at 6200MHz 30-38-38-30-68 VDD@1.4V,  VSoC@1.2V,  VDDIO and VDDQ@1.35V,  VPP@1.8V . I didn't test the stability since i didn't have much time then, don't know if it's stable, i will try doing some testing later.

I also don't know if there will be issues booting later on (like getting stuck when cold booting), reported by other people.

I suspected there might be a hardware issue first, but this workaround basically means something is wrong on BIOS, i don't know what went wrong on Asus Tuning section (AI Tweaker).

I can also confirm that i can get EXPO and same timings to boot on BIOS 0706 with this method, still, i can't talk about stability since i haven't done testing yet.

I have the same Mobo with a 7800X3D I Just bought and it works fine without Expo but as soon as I turn it on it takes forever to boot every time I turn it on. Will sit for about a min with the yellow light on, It will then boot up as normal and seem to be stable but I can not get back into the bios without resetting it first. (This might be because the OLED displays act on the display port). I am not sure. When I do try to get back in to the bios with EXPO on it will just sit with a black screen and a green light on the motherboard. My Ram is the G-Skil 64gb kit @ 30-40-40-96

So 0706 with AI optimizer then frequency Manualy set to 6000 (And no other change) is working for me.
Maybe it's some issue on the others changes that expo profile do.
Asus software are something else ahahah.
