hi guys, sorry for the long title

I recently came from a Maximus V Formula build, and used my SSD as my main drive for OS and editing stuffs, I'm using Win7 64bit,and i ordered a G75VW im planning to put my hard drive to my new laptop, would i have any problems other than drivers?

Thanks guys, Will appreciate your responses.

Do you want to transplant the existing OS install to the laptop? If so I can imagine you might come up against some problems....as you say...chipset drivers etc....but also registry for old board and new board etc will have differences...

I think it is best to do a clean install in these cases.

would it be tons of issue? i read somewhere to view the devices and uninstall those are inactive ones. would this be enough?

Thanks sir for the response

Well maybe not tons of an issue but you never know....I mean, you might get lucky but laptop mother boards are definitely not like a desktop motherboard and I can only imagine you would have some issue.....but you might as well try it and see how you go. Just back up before hand etc. just in case....

came to a decision to reinstall OS 🙂 i have managed to open the hdd's system files and made a backup of the files i need. thanks for the advice sir
