Success: 4820k@4.6Ghz with Rampage IV Formula

Hello,

I have recently purchased a shiny and new 4820k cpu
put it on a rampage iv formula and had a go overclocking
getting to 4.6mhz on the i7 was almost too easy with this simple setup:
A.I Overclock Tuner: xmp
x46 multi
offset mode sign: + 0.095
Dram volt 1.500
CPU LLC: Extreme
CCC: 130%

Getting these results with HWiNFO64:
During Prime 95:
27148

idle:
27149

Tried testing for stability with various organic stuff like bf4 beta/bf3/metro LL/archiving a few hundred gigs etc..
all tested perfectly.
btw specs are as follows:
4820k
Rampage IV formula (bios: 4403)
2x8 1600 mhz dominator platinum
x2 radeon 7970 xf
seasonic 80+ gold 1050w
corsair h100i
or on ocnet:

I am very satisfied with these results considering my old fx8350 was a bit more tricky to climb with,
i DO want more though, i'm currently trying to reach 4.7Ghz with the i7 with no luck /
boosted it full of voltage and it does not seem to make an impact
voltage gets to 1.392 @4.7 with prime95 which seems to me like alot,
tried putting CCC @140%
also tried switching the A.I OT to manual and incresing Dram to 1.515v
which seem to help because less of the cores are crashing during prime
but still some of them are.
all these combind and still not going anywhere
any suggestions? (:

To clarify, i only use prime to see if all the cores are holding the rated speed @100%,
i try not to get stuck on synthetic so as soon as i will manage this test for 10-20 minutes i'll start the organic stuff.

any help/opinion is appreciated
and thanks for looking!

You are going to have to use a whole heap more voltage to get past that mark. You have reached your wall so to speak. Before this point small amounts of voltage would have been enough to ensure stability, how ever for this small 100MHz gain you are going to need a whole heap more. I would suggest that a combination of better cooling and lots of volts are going to be needed. Is it worth the effort for 100MHz I would suggest not. 4.7GHz is a great 24/7 OC.
