Strange problem

Hey ROGers

Since January I notice a strange problem occuring almost every day 1 time.

I play BF4, LOL and WoW.

No matter which game I play, sometimes the PC / Screen freezes to a low FPS rate, eg: 28-36 for about a second, it all freezes until it continues to play smoothly without significant fps drops.

I really hope someone can help me out, did some google research etc.... but I didn't find a solution. I don't even know how my problem is called. I have low to none microstutter.

I play on 1 monitor.

Cheers

Hmm is this SLI only...does it happen on each card individually? I'd try disabling SLI and try one card at a time...if OK separately try an older driver and SLI

Hey Guys

Reporting back in.

Once again i cleaned the drivers and went with arne's suggestion of the 331.82 driver.

Since then the problems do not occur, but I have to further test!

How do I know if a driver is good for my SLI setup, any homepage that tests them on various GPUs? Or self testing?

Cheers

You know that is good when it's not causing problems... 🙂

Run your games or benchmarks or whatever you build that system for and see if everything is fine...

Kind of a good metric is to check in on the Nvidia forum and check the Driver problems thread for a new driver....the less replies the better of course...but really the only way to know is to try it out yourself. Note which drivers are good for you and roll back to those if things go pearshaped. I really liked 331.82...would have stuck with that for a while but new card needs new drivers so...but I'm not running SLI yet...
