Static sound with any audio output, VIA YouTube, when downloading a game?

Hey friends, so I just got the Asus ROG G20, i5 4460, GTX 750, 8gb Ram, and a 1tb HD.

So far I love this thing, It does everything I need.

Basically Im downloading old games onto my new PC such as currently Diablo 3. However whenever it is downloading I cant listen to
music from youtube or watch videos on steam. There is a static sound whenever people speak and in general, but when I pause the
download it stops. Any fixes?

i can recall having this problem myself a few years ago..
ofcourse cant remember what i did that time, that would be to easy.


go to device manager, disable ALL Nvidia HD sound devices.
there might be more than 1.

see if that helps.

When i do that wont it affect game sound?
