Hi there, long time stalker, first time poster. How much of a performance boost does adding an ssd as the main drive really give you?? It is the only item I did not upgrade in my new build, and am now wondering if I should have. Thanks in advance.

Yeap, nikosa is right, an SSD can keep it's performance only if you ensure enough free space on it! - that's why you need bigger one, then the amount of data you intend to keep on it...
