Spilled tea = NVIDIA failure

I hope I'm posting this to a right place, after all it is concerning my hardware issue ^^

2 days ago I spilled almost full cup of tea over my G551JM laptop, I reacted fast, plugged it out of power, wiped, turned over to dry and left for about 40 hours. Now I tested it, it seems to work ok, except when I start some games. In that case laptop loses power.
My opinion is that my other graphic card (NVIDIA) is messed up.

I've sent a support e-mail just now, but I think that I've lost warranty by spilling drink so...

Any thoughts on what's causing the trouble? Ideas what to do?

Hello wordplay

A cup of tea spilled on your laptop is not good, it seems there was some damage done as anyone would expect and it won't be covered under the warranty. It's hard to say what all was damaged, you could take it apart and clean everything with isopropyl alcohol and see if that helps, if it doesn't you could start by replacing the gpu.
