Merry christmas and such good people!
I've got some issues with my RT-AC56U that I hope someone maybe will be able to help me with.
Last week I got IPTV from my ISP and I've been having some issues with my wi-fi connection since then.
Settings for the IPTV is the following.
-------------------------------------
Select ISP Profile NONE.
Choose IPTV STB Port 4
Use DHCP routes MICROSOFT
Enable multicast routing (IGMP Proxy) DISABLED .
Enable efficient multicast forwarding (IGMP Snooping) DISABLED.
UDP Proxy(Udpxy) 0
-------------------------------------
Since I've activated it I've been losing my wifi conection every now and then. Sometimes it stays up during longer periods, sometimes it drops every other minute.
I've been googling trying to find a solution, and one thing I've found was a article / guide on DD-WRT site how to set up the multicast to not disturb the LAN/WIFI . (
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/IPTV_-_blocking_multicast_on_WIFI)
but since DD-WRT doesnt support my router model I cant really try that.
I've been looking around in the settings on the router trying to find some similiar settings but nothing I've tried has worked.
Is there anyone here that know any tips or ways to get it to work better?
I'm no hardcore expert but I know most of the stuff revolving around networks and such and yet I'm at a total loss here.
