So many problems, from blue screens to unresponsiveness

I can only handle so long of these problems before going crazy and complaining them to the RoG Asus forums.

None of them are particularly huge problems, but all of the following are extremely annoying problems that occur frequently or after a certain string of events. I've done many tests to see exactly under what conditions that these problems occur.

1) Blue Screen occurs every time I press any of the twelve number buttons on Razer Naga mouse. This can be fixed and the mouse will work properly if and only if I run the Razer Naga Firmware Updater every time I restart my computer. I do not have to be logged in for this problem to occur, and this problem occurs in safe mode as well. It's an easy and quick fix, but I lost count of how many times I forgot to run the updater, only to face a blue screen, perhaps in the middle of something important.

2) Sleeping, Hibernating, and Shutting down the computer does not always work. Sometimes, when trying to put the computer to sleep, it freezes at a black screen. The keyboard lights are turned off, but the blue lights are not. The only way to fix this is to force-shut down the computer, which basically destroys the purpose of putting the computer to sleep. Hibernation experiences the same problem. Shutting down the computer goes to the blue Windows 7 screen where it says "Logging off..." and simply freezes there. The cursor still works, and the little loading circle is still animated, meaning it's not a real "freeze," but just unresponsiveness. The only way to fix this is to force-shut down the computer. This problem occurs extremely frequently, usually when I've just exited a program, just unplugged or plugged in a device, still running a program, etc. Sleeping/Hibernating/Shutting down only works when basically, I haven't touched the computer for a couple of minutes.

3) Some programs, primarily iTunes, fails to start a second time. If I open iTunes, it's going to be a single time per start up at most. iTunes will shut down, and the process will still be running in the task manager, even if I end process. If I use TASKKILL, iTunes would not run again. iTunes also fails to respond after a while of inactivity, so I can't just leave iTunes on at all times.

These problems aren't huge, but I'm sure that slowly, all three of them are taking their toll on my computer. It can't be good that my computer is continuously being force-shut down and continuously being blue-screened.

The problems are not the program's faults. I installed the same drivers, .exe's, and everything, on a different laptop computer that also runs Windows 7, and that laptop computer has no problems whatsoever.

I'd love to have a single fix for any one of these problems, because it's something I have to deal with every day..

Zka17, Simple question but do you find it process heavy to run both, Norton and McAfee.? Everyone is different but seems for my purpose running Security Essentials works best for me.

You should never have two security applications running at the same time, if for no other reasons than the huge amount of resource that each application will use.

Microsoft Essentials is a very strong freeware application and one I can endorse with confidence.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Sorry, ravfour22, if I led you to understand that you should run both Norton and McAfee in the same time... I didn't mean that! Install just one of them at a time...
