Slow boot due to stuck on ROG screen "Please press Del or F2 to enter UEFI BIOS Settings"

Using MAXIMUS VI EXTREME, 32gb 2400 Ram, 4770k, Samsung SSD(no other drives connected)

When powering on my PC, the ROG screen remains for around 55 seconds.

This makes booting up very slow, this occurs regardless if I have my windows SSD plugged in, or my Linux SSD.

Why have ASUS made these motherboards so terribly slow?

How can I speed up this process

Wasted alot of time trying to fix this problem.

Solution : A2 code, therefore unplug sata cables and eventually it will boot faster.

Despite fixing my problem, I received no help from ASUS, because of this I will never be purchasing an ASUS product again!
