Hi guys i have a question. Should I buy one more GTX 660ti 2GB 192bit and make an SLI or wait a bit more and buy a GTX 780 i know that these GPU have no relation what so ever but will 230 EURO ( SLI ) will make difference on gaming? BTW i play BF4, Metro bioshock etc. Battlefield 4 almost Ultra graphics i play around 50 frames with my GPU at 60 celcious. Will it make difference?

Thanks in advance.

Personally it all comes down to the size of your screen res. If you are playing at 1080p then 2GB or memory (that is the total you will have with SLI as they share one set of memory) then it is not an issue. However if you plan on going bigger or multi screen then the 780 with the larger on board memory is the way forward.

Could not find any tests on 650 in SLi so not really able to comment on a performance difference but my gut feel is the 780 will outperform the two 650 in SLi

Friend... a small mistake I have the 660ti not 650.. 🙂 But i talked with a friend who is Computer Eng he told me that is better for me to wait gather money and then buy an end game GPU. The logic behind this is that my 660TI handles the games quite good for ex. BF4 at 50fps. So my GPU has a life expetancy for 1 more year. I can gather money and buy a Titan or the latest end game GPU at that time. Thanks for your time btw 🙂

I would totally go for a 780.
I did not regret upgrading to a EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX which is already a little bit factory overclocked. After i got the card i overclocked again to +75MHz GPU clock offset and +250MHz MEM clock offset. Max temps 66°.

I play BF4 with mostly over 100 fps, single monitor setup. I never drop below 70-60. Just if there is a lot of smoke / fire and explosions, for some seconds. Very pleased with the GTX 780.

Cheers.

That's probably a sensible thing to do....save up and get the top of the range GTX8xx series....

To me, as pc gaming enthusiasts. I try to look at it in financial terms. Personally, I'd rather deal with one graphics card at a time because whenever you do upgrade, you'll have an easier time selling your current GPU for a fair price on ebay (for ex) while its still somewhat "new".

The simplicity and solid performance of a single card is always a bonus.
