PII 266,, 126mg ram,, 8gb HDD,, 4mg graphic, cd burner, sound blaster,, MoBo n/a..

Amd 64bit 333 ?,, 256mg ram,, 20gb HDD,,, 126mg asus graphic,, DVD player and CD burner,, mobo n/a

Dual core E7400, 4gb 1033hz ram, 750gb seagate HDD, dvd writer, 1gb sapphire 6770, asus p5g41t mlx..

- ASUS Rampage IV Extreme X79
- Alienware original PSU (1100w)
- H-100 plus Noctua NF-F12PWN Push and Pull
- Intel Core i7-3930K 3.20GHz and overclock it up to at least 4.5 (Currently 4.7 a bit unstable but still tweaking)
- Dominator 16GB Quad Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMP16GX3M4X1600C7) (7.8.8.24 2T)
- EVGA Nvidia 680 Classified
- Windows 7 Ultimate

@jcmmg, making that alienware worth using? Great system! Those lights are pretty cool, I will admit.

The lights are cool but are a lottery to make them work without an Alienware MoBo.

The case itself is solid, heavy and there is room for upgrading your hardware. It has some nice features like the top can be released so it is easy to install the H100 or any radiator system. Also if you get rid of Alienware PSU, its bulky cables and Alienware Master I/O Card (At the expense of losing the lights, off course) you will have plenty of space. Apart from that it is not as easy to work as other cases, IMO.

For me as "Alienware Design" lover it worth it, apart from that, Dell components are rubbish!
