Well, now it is done... But I need to cut a 2x 1" holes in the back case panel to stick the wires out nice so they don't drape across the front then I'm done which is what that ugly draped junk in the bottom left is... Have a 1" knockout punch coming next week. 😄

Not exactly the most powerful rig out there but it's a unique application for gaming hardware. Helicopter flight simulators. We had to build a custom enclosure for the computers to fit under the seats. We have enough room for full size motherboards on this (youll see the mounting points for it even) but we went with ITX mobos, thus the Impact was perfect. We will be fitting 2 computers under each seat to have enough power to drive the displays. We tried using 2x GTX780s in SLI but found we got worse performance with surround mode running XPlane than we did with a single 780. We believe the motherboards simply dont have enough bus speed to fully utilize 2 of these cards and thus are using a single GPU which is running great at 3240x1920 across 3 Samsung 60" LEDs. (HDR and all other settings nearly to max on XPlane and we're still getting >100fps). Customers want to have upwards of 10 large format displays for visuals and the only way to accomplish this is with multiple computers working together. We also have Gene's running RAIDR SSD's to maximize bootup time and roolback software. I'll post more updates as the development comes along.
