Here’s my R6E just finishing rebuilding after a faulty bios, so new mobo.
Whilst at it I did a shunt mod on my Titan V using silver ink, what difference it makes I’ve yet to find out, hopefully it will stabilise the Oc?
Ran realbench at stock then loaded in my Oc and ran it again absolutely no problems, out of the box = all working perfectly:D
Will check results today when finished.

My daughter and I built her a new pc. This was fun project for us both to work on together

So finally retired my Maximus VIII Hero and 6700k.

My new Build is the 10900k on the Maximus XII Hero, 64gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, Samsung Evo Plus 250gb NVMe (OS), Evo 850 500gb, Evo 860 1tb, custom loop and myt trusty Strix 1080 ti housed in the FD Define 6 white. Currently overclocked at 5.2ghz across all cores and surprisingly good temps I think, Idle at around 32 degrees, average while gaming 52 - 57 (unless I am playing rocket league where it barely touches low 40s) and when stress testing around 68.

Future plans are to swap out the pump res combo, switch to hard line tuning as I didnt have enough parts when building, modify shroud to accommodate push pull (I couldn't get the additional 2 fans in haha) and swap out fans for white bladed Vardar RGB or Noctua's if I can get the aesthetics right 🙂

I am an awful photographer so please excuse my efforts, but enjoy the bonus of Nacho the Cat 🙂

Just finished this build. I may need to take it apart for a RMA on the motherboard. I/O shield LEDS are not working. I've checked the cables and they were correctly plugged in so I've contacted support to try and get a replacement I/O shield instead of having to RMA the whole board. WE shall see how that goes.

This might make me a total nerd, but I keep a spreadsheet of my build and what it cost me.



I am not a rich person and this stuff, although it's old by today's standards, is the most expensive and nicest stuff I own... so I want good records of it in case I ever have to take advantage of my renters insurance for any reason.



Also it still does everything I need/want/ask it to do, so I'm happy enough. I'm eyeing new video cards, though. Maybe I'll get one in a couple weeks, I'm thinking a 5700XT Strix card would be a pretty balanced choice.
