SATA Configuration Intel2.0 or MARVEL3.0

Retired
Not applicable
Hi Everyone I've gone to some trouble to analyse best data transfer rates. I'm building my new Gaming pc with an ASUs P8P67 Pro m/b. I have 2 x 60GB Force GT SSD's going RAID0 into the Intel SATA6G_1/2[gray] ports. No hesitation there as I know Intel is faster than Marvell. These hard drives will hold my OS.

I will also be getting
1 x standard FORCE 120GB SATA 3.0 for running additional applications for the OS, such as Office 2010 etc.
1x 3TB SATA 3.0 Seagate Harddrive, (at least a very fast one) for media.
1 x ASUS BluRay drive.

(Effectively all my components will be SATA 3.0 (6gbs))

I will effectively have 8 SATA connections on my motherboard.
Intel SATA6G_1/2[gray]
Intel SATA3G_3-6[blue] and
Marvell SATA6G_E1/E2 [navy blue]

My Questions is how should I connect my 120GB SSD and 3TB and BluRay drives on the remaining Intel SATA3G_3-6[blue] and Marvell SATA6G_E1/E2 [navy blue] ports?

If I connected my single 120GB SSD into the Marvell port for my additional OS applications will it be faster than connecting it to the Intel 3G ports? As in the m/b manual it states: "Marvell SATA6G_E1/E2 [navy blue] connectors are for data drives only!"
Does that mean I can't connect my 120GB SSD (for OS applications) to Marvel ports?

Because I was intending I could both my 120GB SSD and 3TB Seagate to both Marvells so that when I want to copy something from the SSD to the Seagate I could get a 6Gbs connection!

I need help my brothers!
