Ryzen 1600 Overclocking - AI Suite 3 vs Bios (B450-F latest Bios)

Hi.

My PC have the following specs:

Ryzen 5 1600
Be Quiet! Pure Rock cooler
Asus B450-F motherboard (latest Bios)
Asus GTX 1070 Dual
Define C chassie

Is it still "better" to overclock the CPU in BIOS rather than doing it in AI suite 3? This is what Ive done so far - please help me what do to instead if you find this odd or not good in any way:

- Changed memory Speed to 3000mhz in Bios (BAllistix Sport 3000). Not sure why its not in 3000 at start but maybe you know?
- Used Asus AI Suite 3 and runned their 5 axis guide. The CPU then runned in 3825 I guess. Ok. So far so good? Or not...

When checking voltage its around 1.406 as it top value, and around 1.374 as it lowest. It seem to be variable.
Which numbers are acceptable - and can I trust the AI suite 3 to "know" whats ok?

Is this a good overclocking? If not, please tell me what to do instead with both the fans and the CPU. I guess the memorys are fine with its 3000mhz in bios.

OR...should I just go on like it is setup in Asus AI Suite 3 ? It seem Ok...that bit high voltage, but no red numbers etc.
The thing is...Im not really sure what Im doing in Bios. There seem to be different ways to overclock. I just want my system to run at about 3800mhz and with an acceptable voltage - and with my memorys at 3000mhz.

I really do need some advice. Im very new to overclocking.

Thank you.

I'm not a fan of AI suite and haven't used it in ages so, I'm not going to be any help with that. My preference is to OC in the BIOS...but that is not to say you shouldn't use the autotune software...it's whatever you feel comfortable with and what works...

I wonder about your RAM though....is it running at rated timings? I don't know if AI suite takes care of that.

If you go into BIOS...extreme tweaker tab there should be an entry AI Overclock Tuner...and there should be a DOCP selectable profile to run your RAM at rated speed and timings. You could use CPUz to check what your RAM is running at now...Memory tab and SPD tab
