After 18 months of being away from all things PC my new system arrives today which I am very much looking forward to having a play, will have to wait another day or 2 for my cooling solution to arrive and it's nothing extreme! Anyway by the weekend I should be able to contribute with my findings. 😄

On another note it's great to see a lot of familiar names especially Dag, hope your well bud, you were truly missed 😉

My Gene came with 0401, am running 0602, just got a 9900K yesterday, haven't done a lot of testing but it does run higher clocks on less voltage than the 9700K did, what were they high on when they came up with the packaging

I also tried 0602 and same for me as in lower overclocks to what I'm used to. Have you tested both on the same cpu?

No I had looked on HWBOT when I first got the board and seen everyone using 0506 so I immediately updated to that version, I have since installed the board in a case and set it up for daily use so have just been using it daily and minor tweaking hear and there.
have the 9900K # 5.1 1.32v adaptive, LLC6 with AVX offset 1, memory kit on XMPII 4500mhz, cache max 48, ran RB, Ramtest, Timespy sleep, resume for daily stability
