After 18 months of being away from all things PC my new system arrives today which I am very much looking forward to having a play, will have to wait another day or 2 for my cooling solution to arrive and it's nothing extreme! Anyway by the weekend I should be able to contribute with my findings. 😄

On another note it's great to see a lot of familiar names especially Dag, hope your well bud, you were truly missed 😉

5.4mhz was a no go, close though and I can drop water temp another 15c so it's doable and I'll try with mems at 3600 ish as it's more stable and less sensitive and obviously I can drop a few voltages so that should help with heat.

Bought this set up for gaming, ha ha, what game!

I set up the Formula for gaming, too. Not had much time for that :). Didn’t realise you were using a chiller, dude.

I'm not, just a pond pump and a cool box and plain old tap water and it's not that cold at the mo, normally goes down to around 7c

Nick you sound like you are having fun, think you missed doing this stuff big time buddy. Keep it fun, how many times did I say that at meets and events. When the chasing of points becomes the purpose then it stops being fun...

I got my board this afternoon, not had a chance to even power it up yet.

Cost for pump, box, fittings , tube and EK block £110, about the same as an aio, only better!

heh, I remember you using that a couple years ago, actually. Does the deed.

I easily see 30c water temps on the Formula build.
