After 18 months of being away from all things PC my new system arrives today which I am very much looking forward to having a play, will have to wait another day or 2 for my cooling solution to arrive and it's nothing extreme! Anyway by the weekend I should be able to contribute with my findings. 😄

On another note it's great to see a lot of familiar names especially Dag, hope your well bud, you were truly missed 😉

Well who knows exactly what it was or how it got there I can't be certain so I won't lay blame. I cleaned it off, stuffed the lil fella in my rig and off we went.

Here's a pic of it once it was cleaned. not the best I just took it for posterity. Wanna see if the mark looks familiar?

Hoping that my pump and bucket turn up tomorrow so I can get testing, well after I've done all the boring bit first, OS etc. Can anyone recommend somewhere to purchase An OS key from?

For windows 10 pro, this is probably the cheapest you'll find them.

FYI mine is a tray CPU from the same retailer and does 5.1 non AVX @ 1.35v load.

I reckon mine will get to 5.1 at around the same voltage, I wasn't meaning to suggest they are bad chips.

Is cpuz reporting right? 1.31v in bios level 7, showing 1.192 idle, load 1.16v load @5.1/4.5/4266
