To celebrate the formation of the new ROG Supreme OC HWBOT team. I think it is only appropriate that we have a little benching challenge to get things really started. This challenge is only open to ROG Supreme OC members.

The Challenge - ROG Super Pi efficiency

Post your best 32 mil and 1 mil times.
Both submissions must be run at the same CPU frequency.
Memory frequency is capped at 2400 MHz. Not one MHz more. 🙂
Open to AMD and Intel users.
Both submissions are rated for efficiency and the efficiency rating for each benchmark combined.
The winner has the best efficiency total.

Requirements
Air and Water cooling only, for memory and CPU - No sub zero cooling allowed.
A photo of your benching rig must accompany your submission.
Contest is only open to ROG Supreme OC team members - your entry must include your HWBOT profile link. 🙂
Each submission must have the wallpaper that Chris designed for this challenge.
Each submission must comply with the HWBOT rules for submission.
Each submission must have the motherboard tab of CPUz open.


Prize

There is a CPU or kit of Ram up for grabs.

The CPU will be either a:

Intel® Core™ i7-990X Processor Extreme Edition (Brand New and never used)
or
Intel® Core™ i5-2550K Processor (binned 5.5GHz) not used for HWBOT submission will be certain silver cups in all 2D benchmarks and CPUz

I will let the winner decide which prize they need or want the most.

Henk the key is staying at 4200Mhz for now. And working on the third set of ram timings, assuming you have done some trial and error on the other two sets, the first four and then the secondary. Use the ASUS memtweak tool to play with the settings in OS.

2400Mhz should be better than 2133MHz, and I have not had a chance to even put your board on the test bench. My last few days have been crazy.

Thanks for the Tips Dagmar, dont worry about putting board on the bench, I understand you are a very busy man! Good for You man.

Well, so as I only just realized that you asked for video of the Pi benches I recorded, not realizing that my Samsung Galaxy SII could shoot in 1920 x 1080 the files totaled just under 3GB lmfao!! i'll re-record at lower res sometime in my morning...holding a mobile phone for 20 mins sucks!!! -.-

I know I did it for some youtube movie 2..... Until I took a piece off ductape rolled it around until it becomes a sticky ball .. stick that on your desk/chair and then stick the cam on it .. after checking it voor filming the right area ... that worked for me !!

I can't remember what Youtube's upload limit is, but I'm fairly certain that it's larger than 928kb. Perhaps HiVizMan would accept a link to your Youtube (or your choice of video uploading site) instead?

Otherwise I'd suggest some sort of FTP scenario...

Thanks it was actually about ROG site here, cant upload pictures from PC over ~930Kb, sits there and wont give the 'green checkmark' that its done. Anwyas, thanks tho!

Ok guys,my final submission.

Run at 800 mhz cpu.Yes you read that right.Takes a huuuuge amount of time to tweak till i got a perfect wazza,and obviously a big video file with special delivery to hivizman 😛

32M: 37M 20.313s
